The Gentlemen

There is a Guy Ritchie film called The Gentlemen, which a vaguely remember enjoying and then, more recently, there is a TV show of the same name, also by Guy Ritchie. They are about the intersection of the landed gentry with the criminal underworld, I think. I don't remember the film all that well. I don't think there are characters in common.

And, all things being equal, I probably won't remember the TV servies all that well either. It has wise cracking geezers and sassy broads. And drugs and guns. And it's enjoyable enough when you are watching it.

Overall, however, the TV series felt a bit like watching Guy Ritchie themed wallpaper.
